DAPCU Bhiwani started its DAPCC on
18-4-2012 under the chairmanship of then Deputy Commissioner Sh. Nitin
Yadav and Member Secretary Dr. Manish Kumar. DDPO, CDPO, District Labor
officer, District Mining Officer are the Nodal Officers of DAPCC from other
departments. The constitution of DAPCC proved very helpful in working of DAPCU.
BPL Ration Cards
The DDPO and CDPO and District Welfare Officer were contacted for information on welfare schemes of their departments. Following which the DAPCU made a list of PLHA who have not benefited by these schemes
- 138 PLHA are found needy for BPL card out of 169
- 31 PLHA are those who already have BPL cards or are not interested in the scheme
- Demands were taken from these PLHAs and DAPCU started a PUC to make available BPL (Below Poverty Line) Ration Cards.
- There was a grant at Municipal Corporation, Bhiwani for some publicity and display of Govt. welfare schemes on the ring road side of city.
- DAPCU contacted to the concerned persons and was able to convince them to display the HIV awareness boards. Two boards were displayed on the frame of Municipality Corporation. This was all done at no cost to the programme.
