DAPCU Support
  • Information sharing with PLHA , Positive network , SDPs-CCC,DIC,ARTC,TI NGO, regarding on social benefit scheme during visits and meeting.
  • Collecting of application for inclusion of social benefit scheme and submit to DSW/PD DRDA.

Solapur, DAPCU's Response - June 2012 Theme - Social Benefit Schemes for PLHIV and HRG

DAPCU and District Administration Support
DAPCU Solapur Formed DAPCC under Hon. Collector Chairmanship. During Quarterly Meetings some issues were discussed about Social Benefit Scheme. Hon. Collector and DAPCC Members DSO ( District Supply Officer ) Tahsildarshared they will provide priority to PLHIV.

DAPCU Conducted GIPA Workshop on 30/03/2012 Dist Level GIPA Committee is formed. In the workshop Hon Collector assured that hundred percent support will be provided to Social Benefit Schemes.

DLN / DIC and DAPCU conducted Sensatization Workshop on 08/06/2012 at DIC Office. All NGOs Working in district  participated and Hon Anand Antrolikar Chairman South Solapur Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana were Present. In this workshop it was advicsed that Linelisting of beneficiaries Schemewise should be prpeared and a follow up would be taken prior to the next DAPCC meeting.

Role of Facilities – DIC / DLN /LAC/ART/ICTC 


Every Facility is to ensure discussion about Social Benefit Schemes in monthly meeting of each component. DLN- At the enrollment time brief should brief PLHIV about schemes, categories , +ve Beneficiaries. Further they should make linelists, Collect documents from PLHIV and  follow up . ART – To ensure that  each PLHIV gets Civil Surgens Certificate stating then have an incurable disease. ICTC – At the time of Post-test Couselling should provide Information about schemes

Note :-Out of 78 Orphan Childrens 28 from Ummid NGO Kurduwadi not getting any funds and 50 Childrens from Palavi Pandharpur getting funds from Women and Child Welfare Dept.

Challenges are 
  1. Documentary Proof Short Falls
  2. PLHIV – To disclosure Status of Own in community
  3. Positive speaker are not in sufficient numbers, Increase Positive Speakers can reach to majority PLHIV
