Bangalore Rural DAPCU's Response to May 2012 Theme - DAPCC Achievements


We are conducting DAPCC Meeting monthly along with the District Health Mission Meeting in Bangalore Rural District. All the programme Officers (RCHO, DTO, DPMO, DMO, DLO, DNO) are attending the meeting, even though they are not members of DAPCC. NGO representatives and all the line departments are called for the meeting. It is going to be useful to take decision on any issue at District Level.

Advantages and Achievements
  • Coordination with other line departments and provides solution to each problem
  • DAPCU facilitates mainstreaming of HIV/AIDS program through DAPCC meeting.
  • The District Administration/DC taking appropriate action towards HIV prevention & support to the programme
  • Voluntary Blood Donation Camps conducting, in collaboration with other departments.
  • Around 80 OVC children list submitted to Women and Child Development Dept. for school scholarship and other benefit.
  • 100% achievement of ANC positives to reach  Pre-ART Reg. CD4 cont& followed-up.
  • Pre-ART Reg. & CD4  of general clients who were diagnosed positive was improved from 45% to 80%
